Kenyan AA Estate Coffee

People ask me, “Hey Dave, what’s your favorite coffee?” I usually have 3 or 4 current favorites, but number one is always Kenyan. The best Kenyan coffees come from the province of Nyeri, north of Nairobi on the high plateau around Mt. Kenya. The volcanic red brown soil there produces wonderful vegetables, corn, tea and one of the world’s greatest coffees. I look for full bodied, spicy Kenyan coffees with a “blackberry nose”—a rich berry like aroma. This is a great Kenyan. – David Kobos
